Court proceedings will continue next year in the case of an Emporia man accused of stabbing another man this past summer at a local restaurant.
Hayward McKoy was set for a motions hearing Friday to suppress certain evidence in his case, but that was canceled. His next hearing is now Jan. 23.
McKoy allegedly stabbed another Emporia man with a knife at the IHOP parking lot in August. He also allegedly fled the scene. He’s facing charges of aggravated battery and interference with law enforcement.
