As Christmas Day slowly approaches some local residents hustled out to Flint Hills Mall to check off a few final items on their Christmas lists.
While everyone certainly had differing reasons for why they were out and about, there seemed to be at least one reoccurring theme amongst a few shoppers.
One resident says Christmas shopping can be easy or difficult depending on the age of the recipient.
Virtually all local stores will be closed on Christmas but will return to normal hours Wednesday.
