United Way of the Flint Hills Director Jami Reever says momentum is building as the agency’s annual fundraising campaign continues.
Reever joined KVOE’s Newsmaker segment Monday with an update. She’s anticipating a sizable boost in the next few weeks as businesses like Wolf Creek, Hopkins and Tyson submit their donations.
While workplace campaigns are the “bread-and-butter” of the overall effort, Reever says people can still make individual donations if they so choose. Individual donations can be earmarked towards certain community partners or for the common good.
Goal is $555,000. Donations support over 20 community partners in Lyon County, surrounding counties and Woodson County. For more information, call 342-7564 or go online to www.unitedwayoftheflinthills.org.
