Lyon County’s Emergency Communications Center will be conducting some phone maintenance Wednesday evening.
Director Roxanne VanGundy says the non-emergency lines will be down periodically between 8-9 pm. She anticipates outages will be a minute to several minutes long.
If you need help and can’t reach the center on the non-emergency line, it’s OK to use 911 during this maintenance period. After 9 pm, VanGundy says you should use the standard non-emergency number at 343-4200 or you can call 342-5545.
