Emporia Police are investigating after a body was discovered at a west Emporia parking lot.
Police and Emporia Fire were originally called to the Staples parking lot in the 2200 block of Industrial Road for a cardiac arrest around 1:15 pm. They found a woman dead inside a car.
Details are being developed at this time. Foul play is not expected.
