Tentative trial settings have now been set for one of three kidnapping suspects after a hearing this week in Lyon County District Court.
Ivan Murillo will have a final pretrial at 4 pm March 6. That will determine whether Murillo goes to trial March 11, March 25 or April 15.
Murillo is charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery and aggravated battery after one person said he was kidnapped, held, beaten and robbed over a period of several days. Emporia Police received the crime report in September.
Co-defendants Will Anderson and Stacy Steen face identical charges. Steen has a pretrial hearing Feb. 6. Anderson has a hearing Jan. 31.
