Lyon County’s Local Emergency Planning Committee has its first quarterly meeting of the year Thursday.
Emergency Management Director Jarrod Fell says committee members will get a unique perspective on emergency response capabilities during the meeting.
The presentation will include a case study.
Following that presentation, the committee will also refresh its membership roster and will conduct its Training and Exercise Planning Workshop to develop a multi-year strategy for different committee exercises.
The meeting starts at noon Thursday at the Sheriff’s Office meeting room.
