One person had minor injuries as a result of a crash at the Kansas Turnpike’s Emporia tollgate Sunday.
Rescue crews, Lyon County deputies and Kansas Highway Patrol troopers were called to the exit shortly after 10 am. A southbound car was using the onramp towards Wichita when it crashed for currently unlisted reasons. One person was treated at the scene and released.
Traffic was slowed down but was allowed to go past the wreck site shortly after authorities arrived. Further crash details are pending.
