The Emporia High boys swim and dive team finished in 7th place out of 12 teams at the Topeka West Invitational Tuesday.
Diver Reed Slayden finished in 1st place, Garyan Fisher finished in 5th place.
The Spartans had 14 best times including the 200 free relay team of Andrew Wendling, Mason Harmon, James Murphy and Max Piper that finished in 7th place with a state consideration time.
The Spartan Swim and Dive team hosts a meet Thursday.
