Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters Serving Lyon County (KSBBBS) will host their annual Bowl for Kid’s Sake at Flint Hills Lanes on April 27th.
KSBBBS is an organization that matches children who face adversity in their lives with an adult mentor to help guide and give the child a better chance in the future. Bowl for Kid’s Sake is one of the most important fundraisers for KSBBBS to maintain this standard.
Josie Williams of KSBBBS says mentors are always needed and explains why mentors are important to at-risk children.
There are some extra incentives to get as many participants as possible, says Williams.
The tournament will be on April 27th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Flint Hills Lanes. If you’re interested in participating for Bowl for Kid’s Sake, you can register at www.4kidsake.org. Registration will be open for individuals as well as teams.
