The Flint Hills Technical College Board of Trustees will be meeting Monday afternoon.
Items on the agenda include possible approval of the Revised Practical Nursing Curriculum for fiscal year 2020. The changes being sought are predicated on a couple of factors, chief among them being discussions of the Kansas Council of Practical Nursing Educators (KCPNE) Committee during meetings in 2017.
The changes would help to further prepare current PNs for the latest knowledge, skills and technologies used in nursing care within the PN Scope of practice. The PN programs previously haven’t had any major curriculum changes for approximately 10 years.
Approval of financial reports is also expected to take place.
The meeting gets underway at 4 pm at Flint Hills Technical College inside of Conference Room C.
