Foggy conditions have thinned out across the KVOE listening area, but the fog could return Tuesday.
TV-13 meteorologist Doug Meyers says fog Tuesday night and early Wednesday could resemble the fog from Monday night and Tuesday morning: patchy, occasionally dense and possibly freezing to elevated surfaces.
A dense fog advisory has been extended — again — for Lyon, Chase and Morris counties. That advisory now goes until 1 pm.
After the prospect of fog Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, our active weather pattern is likely to continue. There is a possibility of widespread freezing drizzle or freezing rain Wednesday night, with up to a tenth of an inch of icing possible. Accumulating snowfall is possible Friday night and Saturday, but windy and sharply colder conditions are all but guaranteed for Friday night through the upcoming weekend.
