The National Weather Service offices in Topeka and Wichita have issued dense fog advisories that cover the KVOE listening area.
All area counties are in advisories that now last until 9 am Tuesday.
Visibility will be a quarter-mile or less, although the dense fog will be patchy — meaning sudden issues with visibility. With temperatures in the mid- and upper 20s overnight, freezing fog is also possible.
If you are driving and encounter fog, slow down. Use low-beam headlights and give lots of distance between you and other drivers.
