One man has been arrested after a short vehicle and foot chase in downtown Emporia early Thursday morning.
An Emporia Police officer tried a traffic stop in the 500 block of Commercial for an alleged stop sign violation. The currently unnamed driver did not stop and drove south, eventually driving into a yard in the 10 block of West Logan Avenue.
The driver fled the scene but was later located and taken into custody.
