Wichita State out scored Central Florida 75-67, the team in first place in the AAC, Wednesday night.
Marcus McDuffie scored a game high 23 points to lead the Shockers. Samajae Haynes-Jones added 14 points and Jamarius Burton finished with 12 points. Wichita State is now 8-8 for the season and 1-3 in the American Conference. The Shockers host Cincinnati Saturday.
