The Emporia High wrestling team finished with a 1-2 record in the Emporia Duel Tournament Saturday.
The Spartans defeated Independence 69-10. Derby the number 1 ranked 6A team defeated the Spartans 60-15. Dodge City the 4th ranked team in 6A defeated Emporia High 45-36. Levi Buckridge and Ethan Garate were the only two Emporia High wrestlers to win all 3 of their matches. Emporia High will host Basehor-Linwood and Chanute Tuesday in duels.
