West Virginia upset Kansas 65-64 Saturday.
The Jayhawks took a 64-58 lead with 2:35 to play but would not score again. West Virginia scored the game winner with 7 seconds to play. Kansas missed two shots in the final seconds of the game. The game featured 7 ties and 17 lead changes. KUs biggest lead was by 6. They never trailed by more than 3 points. Dedric Lawson finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Jayhawks. Marcus Garrett also scored 15 points and Lagerald Vick finished with 12 points. The Jayhawks fall to 15-3 for the season and 4-2 in the Big-12. They will host Iowa State Monday night.
