A hearing is set for Tuesday morning in the case of a man accused of rape in Lyon County District Court.
Jeremy Lee Massey has a motions hearing at 10 am. Massey is accused of rape, aggravated criminal sodomy and breach of privacy following allegations of a violent incident in early September. The complaint says Massey had sex with a person who was incapable of giving consent. It also says he used an unspecified recording device.
Trial in Massey’s case is tentatively set to begin Feb. 4.
The Lyon County Courthouse is closed Monday due to the Martin Luther King holiday.
