All the top seeds won on day one of the 98th annual Lyon County League basketball tournament. Day 2 of the tournament has been postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday.
In girls play Number 2 seed Waverly defeated Southern Coffey County 45-23. Number 3 seed Hartford was a 51-19 winner over Lebo. In boys play Number 2 seed Lebo defeated Hartford 60-31 and number 3 seed Olpe out scored Southern Coffey County 58-50.
The 4 games on the schedule for Wednesday.
At 4pm the Madison girls play Burlingame. Followed by the Waverly boys playing Madison.
Girls number 1 seed Olpe plays Marais des Cygnes Valley in the 7pm game. In the days final game boys number 1 seed Burlingame plays Marais des Cygnes Valley.
