The Emporia School Board has a big meeting ahead Wednesday.
Board members will look over bids for safety and security improvements with help of HTK representative Keith Blackburn. They will also receive the results of the district’s bi-annual climate survey after that was taken last fall.
During the consent agenda, where several items can be approved with one vote, the board may approve a donation to the district as a whole from the Hopkins Foundation and a donation to the Logan Avenue Family Engagement Fund.
Board reports and three executive sessions for personnel matters are planned.
The meeting starts at 7 pm at Emporia High School and follows the board’s annual meeting with the Emporia High Student Council.
