In typical fashion for the United Way campaign, the non-profit organization is providing the community with a free and easy way to file your taxes.
The United Way of the Flint Hills is the local chapter of the organization and they are dedicated to helping the community meet its needs.
Staying true to this creed, United Way has partnered with H&R Block for the 10th year to help households that earn less than $66,000 per year file their state and federal taxes for free online. Director Jami Reever says that this has garnered a lot of interest.
Reever explains how individuals who qualify for this can begin the process.
The United Way of the Flint Hills has just reached the $500,000 mark of their $550,000 goal for the 2018-19 campaign.
