The Emporia High girls basketball team finished in 3rd place in the Glaciers Edge Tournament Saturday. The Lady Spartans defeated Wichita Northwest 33-26 in the 3rd place game.
Emporia High Coach Carolyn Dorsey was happy to get 2 wins in the Glaciers Edge Tournament.
Taylor Milleson was the leading scorer for Emporia High finishing with 10 points. The Lady Spartans improve to 5-8 for the season. They will play at Junction City on Saturday.
Derby won the Glaciers Edge Tournament Championship with a 66-27 win over Topeka Seaman.
Topeka High won the 5th place game 58-38 over Goddard Eisenhower.
Shawnee Mission South defeated Shawnee Mission North 52-28 in the 7th place game.
