A motions hearing is coming Monday morning for one of three suspects in a kidnapping case which developed late last year.
32-year-old Stacy Steen will be in Lyon County District Court for a hearing where a motion to delay further proceedings in the case is expected to be made. Steen faces charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery and aggravated battery after one person said he was kidnapped, held, beaten and robbed over a period of several days.
Emporia Police received the crime report in Septemeber.
Co-defendant Will Anderson has a hearing scheduled for Thursday. Another co-defendant, Ivan Murillo is set for a final pretrial hearing at 4 pm March 6.
Steen’s hearing is scheduled to begin at 9:15 am in front of Judge Merlin Wheeler.
