Trial begins Monday for one of five defendants in a drug distribution case from last fall.
Cole Bowen will be in Lyon County District Court at 9 am on charges of distributing stimulants and possession of paraphernalia with intent to manufacture.
Charges against Bowen and four others developed in September after alleged drug activity. Co-defendant Jacob Rodriguez has pleaded to a drug distribution charge and is awaiting sentencing, while another co-defendant Amanda Alvarado has a hearing Feb. 4 on charges of distributing stimulants and child endangerment. Seanna Herron had a recent hearing to suppress certain evidence in her case on Thursday. Luis Guillen’s prime trial setting is Feb. 25.
