LCAT has a new Saturday route linking some local senior facilities to different shopping areas in town.
The so-called deviated fixed route made its debut this past weekend. It connects the Emporia Senior Center and Horizon Plaza to shopping areas like Country Mart and Dollar General downtown, as well as Aldi, Flinthills Mall and Walmart in west Emporia. Plumb Hall on the Emporia State campus is also on the route.
