Jury trial has been delayed in a Chase County vicious animal case.
Trial for Shelby Carson was originally set for Thursday but was moved to start April 25 as part of a recent hearing. A final pretrial hearing will take place at 9 am April 19.
Carson faces three counts of harboring a vicious animal after Chase County Sheriff Richard Dorneker shot one of her dogs dead last summer, saying it became aggressive against him and another deputy.
