On Tuesday, the Lyon County Spelling Bee will be held at the Humanitarian Center.
Longtime judge Carolyn Turney gave her thoughts on the event during KVOE’s Newsmaker 2 segment Monday. She says nervousness becomes apparent as the spelling bee moves on.
Turney also went through the late-stage rules where the champion is crowned.
If the two finalists miss, then play continues.
