Riley County authorities arrested a Morris County man in Manhattan on Monday for suspected attempted homicide in Sedgwick County and other alleged criminal activity in Harvey County.
The Riley County Police Department says it arrested 25-year-old Jeffrey Vermont Porter, Jr., of Wilsey, on suspicion of attempted homicide in Sedgwick County and a no-bond warrant for probation violation out of Harvey County.
Additional details of the case have not been released. Word on formal charges and subsequent court dates is pending.
