A Hartford man was airlifted from the scene of a rollover accident Wednesday afternoon.
Multiple agencies responded to an injury accident call shortly before 1:30 pm near the intersection of Road Z and Road 130. According to a press release from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, 82-year-old Virgil Stair was traveling northbound in a 2002 Dodge pickup on K130.
For unknown reasons the truck left the roadway and rolled. Stair was ejected from the vehicle and was taken by Lifeteam helicopter to Stormont Vail Hospital.
Stair was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Lebo and Hartford fire crews, as well as Coffey County EMS and both Coffey and Lyon County deputies responded to the call.

Emergency crews were called out shortly before 1:30 pm near the intersection of Road Z and Road 130 for an injury crash. Details are still sparse, however, authorities on scene have indicated there may have been damage to the roadway as a result of the accident.
Information on the number of vehicles and individuals involved as well as possible injuries is currently pending.
