Kansas States 9 game Big-12 win streak came to an end Saturday. Iowa State defeated the Wildcats 78-64.
Kansas State trailed for most of the game, their biggest lead was by 3 in the first half. Iowa States biggest lead was the final margin of 14. Coach Bruce Weber said they just missed to many good shots.
Barry Brown was the leading scorer for the Wildcats finishing with 23 points. Dean Wade suffered another foot injury, the extent of the injury is not known.
Kansas State still is in first place in the Big-12 standings they have a half game lead over Kansas and Texas Tech. The Wildcats play at West Virginia Monday night.
