The Emporia City Commission have several requests awaiting their approval at their upcoming action session Wednesday.
BG Consultants and Community National Bank will seek approval for a public hearing regarding a replacement project for the current bank building at 701 Merchant Street. The request follows an appeal filed by the two entities at the commission’s study session last week to override a decision made by the State Historic Preservation Office.
Also on the agenda is consideration of a bid regarding downtown sewer system improvements and an ordinance for enhanced cereal malt beverages within city limits.
The meeting begins at 7 pm inside the Municipal Court Room at White Auditorium.
