A Lyon County man convicted as part of a meth distribution ring several years ago will have an appeal heard locally Wednesday.
Dave Wasylk, 52, is appealing his sentence of almost 26 years in prison after his conviction of aiding and abetting the manufacture of methamphetamine in 2013, citing ineffective counsel as the main reason.
The Kansas Supreme Court affirmed Wasylk’s sentence in 2015, while the United States Supreme Court denied Wasylk’s appeal in 2017.
The hearing is at 1:15 pm in the Lyon County Courthouse.
