The Emporia State softball team is in Peoria, Illinois to play in a tournament Thursday and Friday.
They will play Quincy and Lewis Thrusday. Sophomore catcher Cassidy Beem is happy to be playing.
Friday they will play Illinois-Springfield and Purdue Northwest.
The games will be played in the Slugger Dome in Peoria.
