An annual fundraiser celebrating the memory of young individual gone too soon will be taking place next weekend.
Bowling for Bentley will be taking place Saturday, March 9 at Flinthills Lane. The annual event is named after Bentley Clark who was born with a serious heart defect and passed away just two weeks after his birth.
This will be the seventh annual Bowling for Bentley event and organizer Shelby Clark, Bentley’s mother, attributes the success of the event to the amazing support from the community.
All proceeds from the event go to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. In the past six years, the event has raised well over $75,000 to Ronald McDonald House.
In terms of bowling, all lanes are officially filled, however, residents are still invited to come hang out and have a good time. The event will run from 6 to 9 pm and will also include a silent auction.
Organizers will also be collecting pop tabs throughout the event to aid with fundraising efforts.
