Officially, tickets go on sale Saturday morning for the 2019 Symphony in the Flint Hills.
For Lyon and Chase county residents, ticket sales have been ongoing since Saturday as part of a special pre-sale, which closes down Friday night. On KVOE’s 8:05 am newscast Thursday, Symphony in the Flint Hills Executive Director Christy Davis said the pre-sale has gone well.
General admission tickets are $95 plus tax for adults and $50 for children under age 12.
Tickets for all go on sale at 10 am Saturday through https://2019symphonyintheflinthills.eventbrite.com and also at the Symphony in the Flint Hills office, 331 Broadway in Cottonwood Falls. Tickets will also be available at the Livestock Exchange Building in Kansas City only on Saturday.
The pre-sale concludes just before midnight Friday. Lyon and Chase county residents can get up to six tickets by going online to https://symphonyintheflinthills.eventbrite.com and by using the promo code 2019CHASE. Pre-sale tickets are also available by calling the Symphony in the Flint Hills office at 620-273-8955 or by going to the office.
The 14th annual concert once again features the Kansas City Symphony and will take place June 15 at Irma’s Pasture near Bazaar. Davis said the concert is part of a whole day’s worth of activities.
