If you enjoy a hefty helping of biscuits and gravy to start your morning, the Emporia Lions Club has you covered Saturday morning.
The club’s annual biscuits and gravy feed will be taking place at the Emporia Senior Center starting at 7:30 am. The cost for tickets is $5 in advance for adults or $7 at the door and $2.50 for children and will provide you with sausage links, juice, coffee, a fruit cup and of course a delicious plate of homemade biscuits and gravy.
Lions Club Member Steve Haught says all funds from the feed will go back to the Lions Club to aid in their numerous projects throughout the community.
Again tickets for the feed are available either at the door or by contacting any local Lions Club member. The feed will run from 7:30 to 11:30 am.
Haught also encourages residents to come back through for a second helping of biscuits and gravy around lunch time.
