The Emporia State basketball teams close out the regular season at Central Oklahoma Saturday with MIAA Tournament seedings on the line.
The Emporia State women have an outside shot at finishing as high as number 2 in the MIAA standings with a win. The Lady Hornets are in a 4 way tie for 3rd place and a game out of 2nd place. Senior Emily Miller says they know what is on the line.
Emporia State won the first meeting with Central Oklahoma 71-64.
The Emporia State men are in a 3 way tie for 9th place but could finish as high as 7th place. The Hornets will be looking to close out the regular season with 2 wins. Senior Sawyer Glick says he feels like they are playing their best basketball.
Emporia State won the first game 66-63.
