One man will spend over 10 years in prison for meth distribution, among other charges.
Ethan Peterson was sentenced last week to 133 months overall. Peterson had reached a plea agreement in two separate but related cases, one involving pleas for meth possession and battery on law enforcement and one for meth distribution. His sentences will run consecutively.
Peterson was originally charged with meth distribution, marijuana possession, Psilocybin possession and drug paraphernalia usage in July. Authorities then filed a separate case involving charges of drug possession with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with law enforcement after a chase from Emporia to Hartford in August.
