The Emporia City Commission has several bids seeking approval during their action session Wednesday.
Two bids will be presented before commissioners including one for new police vehicles. The bid is from John North Ford for three new AWD Hybrid Ford Inceptor SUV’s for the Emporia Police Department.
The second bid pertains to the hazardous sidewalk program. The 2019 season agreement with the Emporia Recreation Commission for the operation of the Jones Aquatics Center will be submitted for approval. .
A report from City Manager Mark McAnarney on activities will also be heard. The meeting gets underway at 1:30 pm inside the Municipal Courtroom at White Auditorium.
