An Emporia man who allegedly stole a truck in Emporia late last year had his case continued during a hearing in Lyon County District Court Wednesday.
33-year-old Blake Cheney had a preliminary hearing Wednesday morning. His case has been continued to May 1st.
Cheney was charged with aggravated burglary, theft, flee and elude, reckless driving, criminal carrying a weapon and driving while revoked or suspended after an incident in December. A pickup was stolen in mid-December from the 1500 block of Thompson, which led to a vehicle pursuit and foot chase that ended at a rural farmstead in the 1200 block of Road 160 just south of Emporia.
