Mike Turnbull, the longtime owner of Emporia’s Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, has died.
Turnbull passed away Tuesday at his home at Lake Wabaunsee near Eskridge. He was 68.
Turnbull started at the funeral home in 1972 and bought the business in 1977. He owned the business until his passing.
A one-time student at Emporia State University, Turnbull also graduated from the University of Minnesota’s School of Mortuary Science in 1972.
