Thick fog is a possibility for many KVOE listeners Friday morning.
Most of the KVOE listening area is now in a dense fog advisory until late morning. Lyon, Coffey, Morris and Osage counties are in an advisory until 10 am, while Chase and Greenwood counties are in a separate advisory until 11 am.
Dense fog settled across Emporia overnight, with visibility as low as two blocks.
If you encounter fog, slow down, use your low-beam headlights and leave more space between you and other drivers. Fog should thin out by late morning.
