The Emporia State womens basketball team plays their first game in the MIAA tournament Friday night against Washburn.
Emporia State Coach Toby Wynn says its all about winning and advancing.
Senior Tiana Moala, who has been a part of two MIAA Tournament Championship teams, is looking forward to the tournament.
Senior Emily Miller says they need to play the way they know they can.
Washburn won the only regular season meeting in double overtime.

The winner will advance to the semi-finals and play number 1 seed Fort Hays State Saturday at 6pm.
Fort Hays defeated Missouri Western 71-58 Thursday night.
In Thursday nights other quarterfinal game Central Missouri defeated Central Oklahoma 80-47.
Fridays other quarterfinal game has Lindenwood playing Pittsburg State.
