Parts of the KVOE listening area could contend with severe weather early Saturday, although the threat is marginal at its worst.
The eastern half of the KVOE listening area is officially in a marginal risk area, according to the Storm Prediction Center. Wind up to 60 mph is possible along with small hail.
Marginal risk is the Storm Prediction Center’s lowest probability severe weather risk category. TV-13 meteorologist Doug Meyers says storms could develop shortly before sunrise and could be occasionally strong to marginally severe through the morning hours.
