Andreas Klein’s Dancing Through Time piano concert was the latest event on the Emporia Arts Center’s (EAC) 2018-19 Performing Arts Series.
Andreas Klein is an internationally admired pianist from Germany who has been performing and composing since 1974. Sunday evening’s concert saw Klein perform pieces from several of the world’s most well-known composers like Johann Sebastian Bach, George Gershwin, and Enrique Granados.
Klein played various pieces from each historical composer and began the concert with Bach’s Partita II in C minor.
Klein has performed in famous theatres all over the globe including Carnegie Hall in New York, Wigmore Hall in London and the Berlin Philharmonie. Klein continues to tour both here in the United States and internationally.
