Hundreds of people from all over gathered Saturday evening for the annual Bowling for Bentley fundraising event.
Going on now for seven years, this annual event is put on in the memory of baby Bentley Clark, who left this world much too early. Bentley was born in November of 2012 and passed away only fifteen days after due to severe heart issues that developed.
Shelby Clark, Bentley’s mother and event organizer, talks about how the memory of Bentley’s passing transformed into a hugely successful fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House.
While bowling was the highlight of the night, there was also a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Items were donated by several individuals and sponsors. Clark expresses her gratefulness for the event’s current and past sponsors.
The Clark family’s deepest gratitude goes out to everyone who came out and supported this cause in Bentley’s memory.
Saturday’s Bowling for Bentley raised an outstanding $15,500 to donate to the Ronald McDonald House, making this year their most successful yet.
