Kansas State and Kansas will be going into the Big-12 tournament ranked in the top 20 of both the AP and USATodays Coaches mens basketball polls.
Kansas State is ranked 15th in this weeks AP mens basketball poll and 14th in the USA Today Coaches poll. Kansas is ranked 17th in the AP poll and 18th in the Coaches poll.
Texas Tech is ranked 7th in the AP poll and 8th in the Coaches poll.
The top 5 is the same in both polls:
Gonzaga is number 1 followed by Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky and Duke.
Kansas State Coach Bruce Weber announced Monday that Dean Wade tweaked his foot again Saturday and is listed as day to day.Kamau Stokes went to the hospital Saturday after suffering a migrain. Coach Weber is hoping Stokes will be able to play Thursday in their Big-12 opener.
Kansas Coach Bill Self announced that Lagerald Vick would not be rejoining the team for the post season.
The Big-12 has handed out its All Conference honors as selected by the Coaches.
