The Wichita State Shockers advanced to the quarterfinals of the American Athletic Conference tournament with a 73-57 win over East Carolina.
The Shockers used a 25-10 run in the first half to take 13 point lead and never trailed the rest of the night. Markis McDuffie led Wichita State with 15 points. The Shockers will play Temple in the quarterfinals Friday night with tip-off set for 8pm.
