Wichita State won their first round game in the NIT out scoring Furman 76-70.
The game featured 12 ties and 14 lead changes. The Shockers took the lead for good with 1:39 to play. Markis McDuffie was the leading scorer with 20 points. The Shockers will play at Clemson Sunday in the 2nd round.
