The Emporia High girls swim team had 3 state consideration times in their first meet of the season Thursday.
Ashlyn Alingh finished in 4th place in the 100 butterfly with a state consideration time.
She was also part of the 200 free relay with Kaylen Hart, Hailey Williams and Kelsey Boettcher that finished in 5th place with a state consideration time. The same 4 swimmers finished in 6th place in the 400 free relay with a state consideration time.
Coach Jamie Dawson called it good start to the season.
